English Wado Federation training
EWRK success at EWF training in Dudley
On Sunday the 16th of January a small group of instructors and students travelled to Dudley for the English Wado Federations training and squad selections for competition.
It was a fantastic opportunity for EWRK students to train with a lot of other like minded students and gain a lot of experience.
The training comprised of an hour and a half of kata training and polishing for competition, followed by a further hour and a half of kumite. During this time students were paired up practising techniques for competition, taking a few knocks along the way.
We were very proud of all of the students that attended, and were particularly pleased that Kiera Gubbins from EWRK was selected for the squad and also awarded a medal for her constant hard work throughout the gruelling session.
Congratulations Kiera!
We hope that this will be the start of many brilliant achievements for EWRK this year.
